Frank Hufnagel Joins Intelliseek Sales Team

As the demand for word-of-mouth services heats up, Intelliseek boosts its sales effort by hiring an expert in loyalty marketing and analytical market research

CINCINNATI, Ohio (Jan. 3, 2005) -- Frank Hufnagel, a sales and marketing professional with expertise in loyalty marketing and analytical market research, has joined Intelliseek as a vice president of sales.

Hufnagel comes to Intelliseek, a leading marketing intelligence firm, from Information Research Incorporated (IRI) in Irvine, CA., where he was director of client solutions. Prior to IRI, Hufnagel was a director of business development at Catalina Marketing Corporation, division manager for Acosta Sales & Marketing, and director of sales for Johnson & Johnson/Merck in New Brunswick, N.J.

Intelliseek provides technologies and services to help marketers promote and protect brands through measurement and analysis of online buzz and word-of-mouth -- also known as Consumer-Generated Media (CGM) -- as expressed through online boards, forums, communities, blogs, search engine results, and direct company feedback.

At IRI, Hufnagel led the divisional "Insights Team" for Con Agra, IRI’s second largest client, and at Catalina, he led the company’s expansion into the natural foods channel by establishing marketing programs with Wild Oats and Whole Foods Markets. During 16 years at Johnson & Johnson, Hufnagel worked for J&J/Merck, McNeil Consumer Healthcare, J&J Sales and Logistics Company, and J&J Consumer Products Company.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma and a master’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma City University.
