Intelliseek Sells Enterprise Discovery Suite Product Line to Inxight Software Inc.Move fortifies Intelliseek's focus on measuring, analyzing consumer buzz and consumer-generated media (CGM)CINCINNATI, Ohio (May 17, 2005) -- Intelliseek Inc.'s award-winning Enterprise Discovery Suite product line has been acquired by Inxight Software Inc., of Sunnyvale, Calif., in a move that allows Intelliseek to focus its efforts on marketing intelligence and buzz measurement for major corporate clients and brands. Under terms of the agreement, which were not made public, Inxight has purchased the EDS search platform technology and assets related to the EDS client base. The EDS software, featuring fifth-generation federated search and alerting capabilities, helps major clients search for and organize data from disparate sources and in multiple languages. "This is a significant move that frees the firm to focus exclusively on technologies that create marketing intelligence for corporations and brands, and it provides additional capital to fuel that innovation," said Mahendra Vora, Intelliseek's executive chairman. Intelliseek and Inxight Software first established a partnership in 2002 and plan to continue working together. "Intelliseek's goal is to be the undisputed leader in measuring and analyzing what we refer to as 'consumer-generated media (CGM),' " said Intelliseek CEO Mike Nazzaro. "Our customer roster is expanding rapidly, and our clients have greater needs to identify and understand online consumer buzz, boards and blogs.
